Disabling a user from your Organisation's RefNow Account.

If you need to remove a user's access to your RefNow account, you can disable their account through the Users and Teams settings. Disabling a user prevents them from logging in while keeping their account information and activity history in the system.

Follow the steps below to disable a user:

  1. Log in to Your RefNow AccountSign in to your RefNow account using your login credentials.

  2. Navigate to SettingsFrom the top menu, go to click the cog icon (⚙️), then 'Settings'.

  3. Navigate to Users and TeamsWithin the left-hand side Settings navigation panel find Users and Teams.

  4. Locate and Edit the User ProfileFind the user you want to disable from the available list.Click the meatball menu (⋮) on the right-hand side of the chosen user to edit the user’s details.

  5. Disable the UserSelect the Account Status of the User to 'Inactive' to disable the user.

  6. Save Your ChangesClick Save to apply the changes.

    Once saved, the user’s status will be updated to Disabled, and they will no longer be able to access the account.
